CAMPFIRE TALES ARCHIVES

 Pass Patrol began roaming the Rocky Mountain states in 1985.
This is the poem included in all the books that followed.

It came alive in '85,
Its wheels began to roll,
As a group of friends, women and men,
formed the Pass Patrol.

With weekend supplies and 4-wheel drives,
they seek forgotten trails
To explore the past and help it last
and uncover ghost town tales.

They bounce and bump, over boulders and stumps
and tread water up to the door;
They use 4-wheel low, through mud and snow,
in search of tales and lore.

Across rivers and creeks, and snow covered peaks;
through canyons with mile-high walls;
past deserted mines, through Rocky Mountain pines,
past tumbling clear water falls,

They slip and slide, across the divide,
it's 4-wheelers on the roll.
If your life's a bore, there's gotta be more:
Join the Pass Patrol!

From 1985 to 1999, Pass Patrol roamed throughout the Rocky Mountain States as a club.  Most of their adventures have long been lost or forgotten.  These archives have remained in tact.  We hope you will enjoy reading about the many adventures of Pass Patrol.
